This is not a standard university degree path. The BTech is specifically structured as an upgrading programme meaning it is only open to people who already hold an Advanced Diploma (A1) in a relevant field. If that is you, this is a fast, focused route to a Bachelor's-level qualification without starting over.

Rwanda Polytechnic is offering a massive array of specialized BTech programs cutting across agriculture, engineering, technology, and environmental management. Whether your background is in land surveying, electrical systems, crop science, or IT, there is a programme on this list that connects directly to your Advanced Diploma.
Applicants must have an Advanced Diploma (A1) in a similar field to the programme they are applying for, with certificate and transcripts required. Foreign applicants must have an equivalence certificate from a competent Rwandan authority. Applicants must submit a copy of their national ID or valid passport and pay a non-refundable application fee of 5,000 RWF.

How to Apply: Step by Step
Open the application link, click “Create an Account,” choose your category, country, and A1 completion year, enter your A1 registration number and a working email, complete the form and click "Submit," then pay the application fee using Mobile Money (*700#, type “RP” as school code), online payment via the application interface, or at Equity Bank by presenting your application number at any branch. After submission, you will receive a confirmation email with your application number.
